Centro Social Tío Antonio supports young people, with loss of hearing, limited resources giving them the opportunity to find employment, becoming self-sufficient and discovering self-work. Some job opportunity are working in a hammock workshop and various role within Café la Sonrisa (“the smile“ Cafe- Restaurant).
Marroquinería Arróliga is a leather workshop, where young people with scarce resources or recovering addiction, are giving the opportunity to earn their own income, making them more self sufficient and allowing them to express themselves creatively by making leather carvings.
Both workshops support and motivate them to finish their school studies.
2 hours – $ 20 p/p
All prices are in US dollars and based on at least two persons per trip. All trips include transportation, entrance fees, equipment and a bilingual Spanish/English speaking guide. Traveling on your own? We can look for a trip companion or talk about the price.
