Education is the key to a better future. It is one of the most powerful tools for reducing poverty. In Nicaragua many children drop out of school prematurely.

Hotel con Corazón invests 100% of its profits in education. We invest in projects that stimulate children to finish school and increase their chances to grow, both personally and professionally.

What do we do?

As a small organization our aim is not to change the school system. What we offer is specific support to help children learn and enjoy learning so that they stay in school for longer and are better equipped to realize their potential.

How we do it?

• We invests in tutoring programs that help children to improve their learning skills.
• We organise extra-curricular activities such as creative classes and sports.
• We sponsor tuition for some secondary school and university students.
• Occasionally we invest in educational facilities, usually together with third parties.
